Holiday Shopping Guide for Toddler Girls

I am going to share with you a few things that I would like my daughter to get for Christmas this year. She will be almost 2.5 by then, so it is due time for some big girl toys right? Shopping for a toddler isn’t easy!

The first item I want her to have is a tricycle. She points out bicycles everywhere we go now, and wants daddy to buy her one. Of course, I want to buy her everything she wants as soon as she wants it, but I think that since it’s so close to the holidays, we can get it for her and save it for Christmas. I was browsing online, and I found this one, The Sturdy Steel Design And Rubber Tires Make This Tricycle Durable And Easy To Ride For Ages 2-4 Years – Radio Flyer Girls Classic Pink Tricycle with Push Handle. It seems as though it will suit her nicely. I could go with some Disney Princess ones I also found, but I have a sneaky suspicion she will have enough other princess things to cover that area!

My daughter is also acquiring an imagination very quickly. She now has tiaras and pretends she is a princess…along with trying to put it on the dogs and the cats and mommy. I think it is time for some dress up clothes! Someone suggested this, Dress Up For Girls Princess Trunk 26 Pieces(Jewlery to Shoes) and because it’s not terribly expensive, 26 piece for $40, if she ruins them it’s not as big of a deal as it would be if I bought individual princess-specific outfits that are more costly. I think she will love this!

So, just like almost every other little girl, my baby is in LOVE with the movie “Frozen”. She has watched it about a million times and she tried to sing along with the songs, even though she’s only 2 years old. Its adorable and I enjoy the movie as well, so that helps! I am trying to get her to start carrying her own bag, so I ordered a small 11 inch toddler backpack with Elsa on it. This way she can carry her own snacks and drink, as well as maybe a diaper and wet wipes! You can find one really similar here Disney Frozen 11″ Mini Toddler Pre-school Childrens Backpack – Anna and Elsa.

One more thing I think I want to get, is a baby doll and a little bed and stroller. She loves babies so much right now, I think it will be super cute to see her play with her own baby and accessories! Possibly something like this Melissa & Doug Jenna – 12″ Doll and this for her to put her new doll in Badger Basket Polka Dots 3-in-1 Doll Pram Carrier And Stroller – Pink/White.

I am still looking for suggestions so I will be checking out this Holiday Toy List soon to try and figure out more gifts!

Does anyone have any other suggestions?

Best,

The Not-So-Single Mom
