What is your word for 2015??

What is your word for 2015A new year means a new you! Everyone makes plans, call them resolutions, we shared ours last week, call them goals but we all have them. That does not mean the year previous was not amazing in some fashion.

What was the best part of your 2014? Pick one word for 2015 and give a reason for it.

The Perfectionist Mom – My 2014 was actually not a banner year in my life. Not that it was particularly bad it was just tough and my husband and I faced some personal things that tested us, everyone has those years right? Picking a best part of the year was actually much more difficult than I thought it would be. I would say my daughter growing up in general, learning to walk and talk and becoming a little person was a huge thing. If I had to pick a specific event I would have to say starting this blog. I saw this as my path independence and put me one step closer to figuring out who I am. My word for 2015 goes hand in hand with that THRIVE. I want to thrive in every aspect of my life, personal, professional, as a parent and wife. So that is my 2015 word, its got to be better than 2014!

The Naturalist Mom – The best part of 2014 was nursing school. Achieving that goal was hard work, scary, exciting and has definitely shown me the strength in my relationship with my husband. Although trying at times, he’s proved to be the strongest, biggest rock building me up and supporting me through this much anticipated journey. As for 2015…. BADASS. The reason, we are achieving small goals that become big ones, building a better relationships through Faith and each other as well as paving a new future and setting bigger and better goals for ourselves!

The Not-So-Single Mom – The best part of 2014 for me, was the progress I have made with my personal trainer. Yes, it could have been better, but I have made more progress than I had thought I would. One word for 2015 would be HEALTH. We are going to strive to eat and live healthier lives. We need to be around for a very long time for our precious daughter, and even though we ALL know that this needs to be a daily goal, most of us seem to forget to be healthy and put it on the back burner when it needs to be front and center!

The Hot Mess Mom – The best part of my 2014 was marrying my childhood sweetheart and making our blended family official. I can honestly say that I had a blast at our wedding and enjoyed every minute of it! One word to describe my 2015 is FIRSTS. We have our first family vacation to Disney World in the beginning of March and our first wedding anniversary on March 22nd. We also plan on moving into a house this year and I’m taking my daughter to her first concert later in the year. I’m looking forward to everything 2015 has to bring and all the memories we have to make 🙂

  1. Love all of these! My word for 2015 is growth–I want to grow as a parent, a spouse, a travel blogger, and a freelance writer. I hope 2015 is a great year because 2013 and 2014 felt like such difficult, transition years.

I haven’t thought of my word but I have a ton of goals I want to accomplish!

  4. Love all of these goals! My phrase for 2015 is “positive energy.” I have never been a “glass is half full” type of gal so it will be a challenge, but I’m sure I will find a way to be sarcastic and positive all at once…I hope!
