If you are currently realizing, like I did that Father’s Day is quickly approaching you may be getting that panicked knot in your stomach. Well, fear no more! We have a list of items for you today that might help ease your anxiety. Some are more fun some more of just a gift but all of them are something out hubbies shared they would love.
Now because we only have 4 more days to get something we would like to share with you one small thing…Last year I got Amazon Prime for my husband and it has been a lifesaver! Most of the items ship within one or two days so when I forget and have to rush something I can still get it delivered in time. If you are interested in this awesome program you can click here Give the Gift of Amazon Prime and $10 will be donated to Movember or there is a box on the sidebar of the site. Bonus access to Amazon Prime TV is included.
If you have younger kids he would probably love anything you give him. Homemade cards are always the best. Along with stuff you will never need but will cherish like homemade picture frames, coffee mugs and anything crafty your little one can muster. Guys are sappy too you know.
Another ides is a day out with the kids to somewhere fun and stopping at his favorite restaurant! The zoo might be great, if you don’t live in Florida. If you do live in Florida, like we do, consider hitting up one of the amazing indoor science museums we have. They are fun for everyone really.
BUT if Dad is anything like Mom he might just want a break on Father’s Day. In that case feel free to give him a Daddy’s Day Off or get him an experience he would not normally get. Like tickets to an awesome sporting event or concert (doesn’t matter how far in the future. Actually the further the better because then you get to remind him of the awesome gift for longer ;)) Let him go sky diving, deep sea fishing or go karting.
If you are looking for something slightly more tangible here were some of our husbands picks the griller or the sports guy. We have splurges and saves because you do not need to spend a fortune. Save the big ones for Christmas or his birthday.
Splurge – In case you are not on the band wagon yet (I’m not) Fitbit Charge HR Wireless Activity Wristband
Save – Under Armour Men’s UA Tech Short Sleeve T-Shirt My husband cannot get enough of these.
In the end it is the exact same deal as Mother’s Day, he just wants to feel appreciated. Give him the gift of your and the kids love and it will be a great day no matter what.
