Easy and Yummy Slow Cooker Pot RoastIf you have followed any of my older posts, you have seen my other Easy recipes. I am a huge fan of keeping it simple in the kitchen. Please feel free to check them out! Easy Anytime Fudge and the best, Easy Stuffed Peppers

Like I have said before, I am not a fan of cooking and really, I don’t think I am very good at it. There are just a select few things that are quick and easy that I like to do, and actually taste great! Here is another secret of mine, Easy Slow Cooker Pot Roast, probably my husbands favorite!

When you get to the end of this recipe you may ask your self why I don’t add carrots and or potatoes to this recipe, and that is because I am not making beef stew. To me, pot roast is just that. Roast and gravy.

If you want veggies, I suggest cooking them separately and in a manner that you like and serve them on the side. You could also add potatoes either mashed or cubed either would work super well. That is one of the best parts about this recipe is how versatile it really is. Well, that and the fact that it has what 4 ingredients? Hope you make it and enjoy!

Let me know what you think? What would you add in with this easy recipe??

Instructions
  1. Combine everything into the slow cooker.
  2. Add water to the large can and to 1-2 of the small cans and add to your cooker. The more water you add, the runnier or thinner the “gravy” will be. I tend to “eyeball it” and it is always a different consistency. You can even add more water in a few hours if it looks to thick for you.
  3. I set my cooker on high if I want it to cook in about 6 hours, or on low if I am going to let it cook over night or ALL day long.
  4. Once you can stick a fork in the meat and it falls apart, it is done.
  5. Make a pot of rice or noodles and serve.

  1. I never get sick of pot roast!

  2. Pot roasts are my husband’s favorite, too! I love that they can be cooked in a slow cooker, because I’m not a fan of cooking, either 🙂
I usually cut red potatoes into halves, throw in baby carrots, and even some celery into the crockpot and they cook perfectly with a very similar recipe! (And my cut, I mean that I get my husband to cut–that’s the deal, I meal plan, assemble, and season things, but he cuts the vegetables because he’s fast and strong and I’m weak, slow, and cut myself!)
