Why RN school and Motherhood go hand in hand
While going though RN school I have noticed a bunch of similarities to motherhood. Here is just a short list. Let me know if I missed any…
Your time is not your own
Everyone needs something from you at all times
You wipe butts, change undies and “kiss” boo boos
You wear many hats, your responsibilities are endless
Sleep is optional
Caffeine is a bare essential
Most days, no matter how tired you are, you have to put your big girl britches on and just deal
People NEED you
You are the answer to someone’s prayers
It is the most rewarding job….EVER!!

awww, both seem like awesome jobs! I’ve worked at a nursing home but I don’t have children. I know working at the nursing home was so rewarding and I miss everyone I met there so much!

All the best with RN school. My sister is an RN who went on to get an advanced degree.
