One Pot Pasta Dishes – 3 Delicious Recipes

I have fallen in love with these “one pot pasta” dishes lately. To not have to dirty 4 pots and pans to make one meal is amazing. I usually don’t have the time for all that anyways. It’s genius to be able to create a meal for a family of 4 and have be guaranteed leftovers all while cooking everything in one stinking pot or pan. I have utilized Pinterest for nearly all my recipes and have tried a lot of these one pot meals; I have not come across a bad one yet. I am going to provide you with 3 different but delicious one pot meals that are simple but full of flavor. These are great because almost any ingredient can be left out or substituted for something else you may like better. Ingredients are easy to find and it’s a great way to incorporate your veggies without being boring.

One Pot Pasta Dishes - 3 of my favoritesOne Pot Zucchini Mushroom Pasta – takes less than a half hour to make.

Ingredients: mushrooms, garlic, peas, thyme, zucchini, spaghetti, heavy cream, parmesan cheese, salt and pepper.

Combine all ingredients EXCEPT cream and parmesan cheese in large stockpot with 4 cups of water. Bring to a boil then simmer until pasta is cooked and liquid is reduced (8-10 min). Stir in heavy cream and parmesan cheese. Add salt and pepper to taste. Voila!

Italian Wonderpot – takes about 30 minutes to make

Ingredients: 4 cups vegetable broth, 2 tbsp. olive oil, fettuccini, frozen chopped spinach, 1 can diced tomatoes, garlic, one onion, a palm full of dried basil, oregano, and red pepper flakes, feta cheese, black pepper to taste.

Add 4 cup of vegetable broth in large pot with fettuccini, tomatoes, oil, spinach, onion, garlic, basil, oregano, red pepper flakes, and fresh cracked pepper. Cover with lid and allow pot to come to a boil. Turn heat to medium and continue to cook without a lid for 10-15 minutes or until pasta is cooked and liquid is mostly absorbed. After pasta is cooked, crumble with feta cheese and serve.

Pasta and Sausage – less than 30 minutes to make

Ingredients: Andouille sausage smoked, fresh basil, garlic, grape tomatoes, large onion, spaghetti, parmesan cheese, salt and pepper.

In large pot combine spaghetti, sausage, onion sliced, tomatoes cut in half, basil leaves, garlic minced, and pepper to taste. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer uncovered until pasta is cooked and liquid is reduced. Stir in parmesan cheese and serve.
